Virtualization is the future

The confidence that many clients place in Systemfive is huge, as they are outsourcing their complete IT infrastructure to them. In this outsourcing, all important data are transferred to the Systemfive data centers. A well-practiced team takes care of the applications and data and guarantees the highest possible security and availability. At the same time, the client’s IT infrastructure is virtualized, which eliminates additional costs for the care of the old, physical hardware. An additional advantage of virtualization, besides the cost savings, is the higher flexibility for resource allocation. The level of promise this virtualization holds out for the future can be explained by means of an example: In a recent migration for a client, it was possible to reduce the number of physical servers from 58 to 8, by means of virtualization alone.
